To mindfully awaken is to become aware or conscious in the here and now while incorporating all of our experiences before this moment in time. This practice of living courageously, authentically, with non-judgmental awareness, while embracing our worthiness helps us live a fuller life. Specializing in psychotherapy with adults and couples, my approach is influenced by attachment theory, mindfulness-based therapies, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, CBT, and The Daring Way(tm) (based on the research of Brené Brown). I use a body-awareness approach to guide clients in accessing their innate capacity towards self-regulation & healing,
I am a Certified Therapist in EMDR, an Intermediate Somatic Experiencing Participant, & a Certified Daring Way Facilitator-Candidate. Together we can examine challenges & vulnerabilities, uncover strengths, and enhance skills to live fully, mindfully & authentically. I offer Daring Way(tm) groups to help adults Show Up, Be Seen, Live Brave(tm).
