I have enjoyed working in both university and private practice settings since 1998. Using cognitive behavioral (CBT), interpersonal, and other eclectic approaches, I am dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative relationship with each of my clients. Areas of specialty and interest for me include mood disorders (anxiety and depression), eating disorders (weight management, disordered eating, and body image concerns), relationship issues, and life transitions (career exploration, creating a balanced life, stress management) .
Having worked in both in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation settings, I am skilled at determining the level of care that would most benefit an individual seeking treatment. Subsequently, I enjoy helping each client create and maintain a therapy program that works most effectively for the individual.
No matter what the underlying concern, I am dedicated to helping each client feel more confident in meeting life challenges, taking risks, gaining self-acceptance, and enjoying life to the fullest.
