As a trained Marriage and Family Therapist I work with individuals, couples and families and I offer a caring, confidential and non-judgemental environment where you can explore the factors that so greatly impact your life and your relationships with others. Are you tired and overwhelmed with life's challenges? Are you facing the devastation of an affair, divorce or is your family experiencing a crisis? Do you feel "stuck" in a pattern or are you living with the effects of a trauma? It is my belief that we posses the ability to heal and grow in a supportive environment.
I specialize in working with individuals/couples/families focusing on issues such as addictions, grief, marital conflict, affairs, intimacy, co-parenting, divorce and teen self-harming behaviors. Traumatic experiences can significantly impact the way you relate to the world, however your past does not have to determine your future.
I am an associate at Asheville Psychotherapy Associates along with Trip Woodard, LMFT, LCSW and Angela Horton. LPC. Our practice serves working families and we therefore offer some evening and weekend hours. My approach to individuals, couples and families is based on Cognitive Behavioral and Family Systems therapy and EMDR.
