Karen Marie Lundgren, Counselor in Bozeman
Counselor, MS, LCPC
“I have over 25 years of experience helping children, youth, adults, and families to find improved health and well-being. It has been my experience that individuals do the best they can with the information they currently have; at times, however, people seek new information or a new point of view. I collaborate with people to plan a course of treatment that fits them best. I have found several evidence-based treatments to be the most helpful: EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar, trauma, PTSD, loss/grief, and attachment issues.

Susan Jedd, Counselor in Bozeman
Counselor, LCPC
“I specialize in parenting and grief issues, including child/adolescent grief and parenting a grieving child. The loss of a parent in childhood is the most significant loss a child can suffer and presents a unique challenge for the surviving parent. Additionally, many parents don't realize that divorce is also a devastating loss that can have an equally powerful impact. Because of the lasting effects of loss and the complicated developmental changes that occur during childhood, addressing the needs of a grieving child requires specific insight and guidance. This is a time when you may need professional help.

“It's my pleasure to work with a variety of people, from diverse backgrounds. My philosophy is that the person/people sitting across from me come with primary expertise, experience and wisdom. Each one is a specialist in their own self and their own life, and comes with inherent worth, value and dignity. My priority is to be fully present and aware in order to build trusting relationships, deeply understand, reflect each person's insights/solutions, and offer hope in other possibilities. It's an honor to be a partner and consultant in the process of uncovering hidden resources.

“I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, with a goal of increasing their capacity to live more connected and meaningful lives. Often the ways we have learned to adapt to our world (or world view) are no longer effective or relevant. I seek to help clients create deeper awareness and insight into their motives, defenses, and desires. Together we explore patterns that contribute to struggles and dissonance in day to day life.
