“People often come to therapy to improve relationships, cope with distress, confront destructive patterns, understand their pasts, or resolve inner struggles. I work with adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples across a wide variety of concerns and stressors. My approach is a blend of psychoanalytic, experiential, and behavioral techniques because I believe there is no "one size fits all" in therapy. Rather I seek a holistic understanding of your feelings, struggles, and desires. Together, we can create a treatment that supports you while gaining more inner clarity and relief from on-going conflicts.

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
“I have worked as a clinical psychotherapist for the past twelve years. I specialize in treating clients who suffer from anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and phobias. I have developed an eclectic theraputic treatment approach. However, my individual approach gravitates toward cognitive behavioral therapy. My work with clients focuses on their realization that their various disorders stem from their erroneous beliefs about themselves. I work with them on disputing their irrational thinking and assist them in developing new adaptive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Many of my clients have benefitted from this approach and now lead happier and more productive lives.

“My approach to therapy considers that the mind and body are integral parts of a whole being. Achieving balance between these parts is an important component of the healing process and my goal is to help clients achieve this stability. Anxiety and depression can be unbearable and sometimes immobilizing; relationship problems can weaken our capacity for experiencing happiness; death, divorce and trauma can leave us hopeless and empty. My therapeutic approach strives to help client's emotional wounds heal in order to regain inner peace and improve personal growth.

“We offer intensive clinic- and home-based treatments for infants, toddlers and school-aged nonverbal children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other developmental disabilities who exhibit severe delays in their overall cognitive, speech/language, social-emotional, motor and adaptive functioning through empirically-supported methods in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) such as discrete-trial teaching, pivotal response training, generalized imitation training, echoic/vocal mand training, incidental teaching, and natural environment teaching. In addition, we implement motivational systems (e.g., token economy, choice board) and photographic/written activity schedules across multiple learning environments. Parents are taught through Behavioral Skills Training (BST), which is an empirically-supported procedure that consists of instructions, modeling, rehearsal and feedback. The overall goal is for parents to learn how these methods work to promote socially significant behavior change in important domains.

“People are searching to connect with themselves and others in ways that often feel unreachable. These difficulties can get expressed through repetitive, dissatisfying attachments and frustrating patterns of connectedness. Initimacy while longed for, seems illusive. In my 30 years of working with addictive and attachment related issues, I have come to understand how one's sense of aloneness and isolation can prevent a feeling of hopefulness and possibility. It is my belief that supportive, interactive and relational psychotherapy can offer profound change and relief in helping one manage their deepest conflicts and achieve greater fulfillment.
